Our Horses
Here at Leg Up Equestrian Program, we have a colorful palette of horses. We enjoy highly trained athletes but also enjoy a good project horse. We often take in a horse for rehabilitation and later help them find the best of homes. We would love to have you come out and meet our herd!
The Herd
Kudos
Kudos was purchased early 2022. She was underweight, badly in need of hoof care and had behavior issues. She quickly showed she was a talented mare who actually craved attention. She is now mother to Ditto and will rejoin the riding program soon.
Mojo
Mojo came from a mare named Princess who served us many years as a lesson horse. He inherited her kindness and patience as well as her stocky build. Phoenix has trained Mojo and has now started riding him. He is also being shown by one of our students in halter and showmanship.
Ditto
Ditto is our newest member of the herd and the first to be born on the farm. He is a blanketed bay Appaloosa and we couldn't be happier. He certainly keeps us all entertained.
